Frequently Asked Questions

Which class level should I take?

View our class level descriptions on our Homepage

Where should I park?

Parking spots will be shared with every booked class via email. We are also well served by public transit to our various studio locations.

When can I start?

Most of our classes are ongoing drop-in, so you can start anytime. Begin with a beginner class, and move to the next level when you feel ready.

How are the classes structured?

Classes start with warm-up exercises, such as intense stretching and core workout in contemporary. After the warm-up, you'll work on short combinations of steps and moves, and then a choreographed combination that changes every class.

What is the price of each class?

Class costs are listed under our class details, and individual workshop prices are available on the Workshops page.

How many people are there in class?

Class sizes vary depending upon the studio availability and registrations. Our most full class doesn’t exceed 50 people per class provided we have 2 instructors available during the class.

What age are your students/How old do I have to be?

Our students are mature teenagers aged 16+ and adults of all ages.

What if I’m running late to class?

Latecomers will not be admitted for safety reasons, as missing the warm-up increases the risk of injury. Please call us if you think you will be late. Entry is not permitted if you are more than 5 minutes late.

Do you have showers and lockers?

We do not have showers and lockers available at the studio. Please take your belongings with you into the studio.

What can I wear to a Hip Hop class?

Wear shorts, t-shirts, sweats, or baggy trousers/leggings. Be ready to sweat and bring clean running shoes (not worn in from the street). What can I wear to a Jazz/Contemporary class? Wear leggings, shorts, sweat pants, or similar attire—nothing too baggy. Comfortable clothes for movement and jazz shoes, bare feet, or socks (cotton socks work best) depending on the studio floor type (hardwood or rubberized).

Am I allowed to bring my children with me while I take class?

Please do not bring your children to class. We are not responsible for looking after your children, and they are not allowed to sit in class while you participate.
